Parent and Child Class
Classes will resume in the fall, inquire now if interested!
In this 6 week session, we welcome parents/guardians/caregivers to Dragonfly with their children ages 4 months to around 2 years old. This program empowers caregivers as their child’s first teachers during the early years of childhood.
Parents get to experience the wonder of the Waldorf philosophy, learn how to engage with your child in rhythm, warmth and ease, and spend time in our beautiful early childhood spaces. Classes include creative free play, circle and story time together, and nourishing snacks made and shared together. We make and eat applesauce together—the fun and the yummy smell of fresh applesauce delights every time. Additionally, you will learn songs and games, plus new ideas and tools for parenting. Our program provides a unique opportunity for social interaction and connection with other children and parents.

Class Teacher
Ms Kathryn Zion
Beloved Ms Kathryn will be teaching this class again, as in years past. Ms Kathryn taught full time in the Preschool classroom from the fall of 2019 up until this last school year. This year, she retired from full time teaching, and we’re lucky to have her holding this Parent and Child class. See Ms Kathryn’s biography on our Faculty page for more!
